Chiropractic and Osteopathy

Many dogs are assumed to have arthritis, but actually have chiropractic and osteopathic issues. Back stiffness produces sciatica that resembles and aggravates canine hip dysplasia or torn cruciate ligaments. Chiropractic and osteopathy correct this stiffness and pain.

Osteopathy and chiropractic were both developed in the 19th century to relieve pain and dysfunction from pinched nerves and stuck (fixated) vertebrae. We use only the gentlest of their methods to ensure your pet’s safety, including ActivatorsTM that lightly tap vertebrae back into normal motion as well as relax any associated muscle spasms.

Osteopathy uses gentle manual manipulation to restore normal movement of not only the spine and limbs but the internal organs. Modern day research has discovered that osteopathy and chiropractic achieve much of their benefits by improving circulation.
