Our Glorious Staff

We are all devoted animal lovers who are passionate about healthy living, so caring for our pets with holistic medicine is the logical choice for us.

Kendra Barody

Veterinary Technologist
Kendra graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College in 2011. She has always been passionate about holistic medicine, and is certified in both herbal medicine and as a Level II Reiki practitioner.Working at Edmonton Holistic has given her the chance to see first hand how these and other holistic therapies are applied to the treatment of our animal companions. In addition, Kendra is a Certified Canine Body Worker and spends quite a bit of time massaging grateful dogs at here in our practice. What little free time she has left is spent with her husband and enjoying a wide range of outdoor and physical activities.

Jana Teefy

Veterinary Technologist

Jana grew up on a goat dairy farm and has been into animals ever since. Naturally, she became an Animal Health Technologist, and graduated with honors from NAIT in 2005. Her career has been extraordinarily varied, including mixed animal, exotic animal, emergency, small animal and now holistic medicine, at a host of clinics and facilities.

In her spare time Jana lavishes attention on her dog (Falco) and 2 cats (Garrus and Howard). Jana is literally the only mother Howard, since he came into her life as a foster kitten. Even back then, in between bottle feedings, she found time to pursue her passions of dragon boat racing and ultra-marathon running, and she brings all that energy to her position as AHT at our clinic.

Jo King

Go-To-Girl
Jo has held customer service roles in the holistic health field for 12 years and helps all of us do our jobs better at Edmonton Holistic. She is constantly on the go, from mixing herbs and applying Reiki, to assisting Janelle or Heather in trimming nails and preparing rooms for the doctors. When it’s finally time for a rest, she teaches dance or goes rock climbing with her husband.
